We are a flexible, medium-sized company and currently employ over a dozen qualified tool-grinders. 

Barth has a comprehensive range of innovative equipment. By combining the latest technology with a highly-experienced workforce, we are able to take on the production of special cutting tools We also have the CNC equipment needed to provide a cost-effective service for large batch sizes.

At Barth, we guarantee maximum precision at every step of the process, and our standardised tests and inspections mean you can be sure of the quality - every time. We have been running a DIN/ISO 9001 quality management system since 2004. This process is supported by a unique software package for documenting workflows. 

Rising customer numbers and larger volumes of tools meant that we had to convert and extend our production facilities to over 1200 m² in 2006. Here at Barth, we can grind over 10.000 tools and components per month at peak times. We are only able to handle this massive volume of tools by using the special order processing software that we had developed especially to meet our requirements. 

We have satisfied famous-name customers in all branches of industry, such as mechanical engineering and plant construction, aerospace, medicine and wood and plastic-working crafts.

These days, we machine cutting tools on fully-automated CNC grinding machines with measuring and loading systems. At night, this is even done in unmanned, “ghost” shifts, with a view to saving money for you.
