Production of special tools

We can produce all types of cutting tool to our customers’ precise specifications. If you are looking for profile cutters, step drills, step spot cutters or rebate cutters, you have come to exactly the right place.

Just send us your workpiece drawings (by e-mail, on DVD, by fax or mail) and we will design the right tool for you needs. We will then contact you, either in person or by telephone, to clarify any outstanding questions.

Please let us know if you have any special requirements or plans. We will work with you to develop a tool specifically for your application and then assume responsibility for its professional implementation. We have the latest technology, such as 3D tool simulation, available even at the development phase so that you will be able see the end result at this early stage.

Very short lead times for special tools

With our flexible working methods and sophisticated production equipment, we can quickly implement your orders - whether you want a single, one-off tool or are looking for larger-scale series production. Our standard lead time for special cutting tools made from high-speed steel (HSS) or solid carbide is one week. This can be further reduced in special cases.

At Barth Schleiftechnik, we produce special tools on 5 or 6-axis CNC tool grinders. They all undergo special quality control checks at the end. The use of pure cooling oil lubricant allows us to achieve an extraordinarily high surface quality. This, in turn, gives excellent cutting quality and thus ensures a long service life for your tools.
