Barth Schleiftechnik GmbH is an owner-managed medium-sized company based in Augsburg. We produce high-quality machining tools with 18 qualified employees. Our expertise is based on  over 50 years of experience gained since the company was founded in 1964. Today the company is managed by the second generation – Michael Barth, Master Cutting Tool Mechanic.

We manufacture on more than 1200 m² production area with a perfectly designed and innovative machine park. We use fully automated CNC tool grinding machines with measuring and loading systems. These even work unmanned at night, during the so-called "ghost shift", to save costs for you. At peak times we grind up to 15,000 components, solid carbide milling cutters and solid carbide drills per month. We can manage this large volume thanks to an order processing software especially developed for our requirements.

You will find more than 40 different types of solid carbide milling cutters in our standard range; these are always available ex stock. We also produce custom-made tools (such as solid carbide form cutters, solid carbide step drills) or modify standard tools, carry out repairs and regrinding work. Our fast and flexible service convinces our customers. We supply renowned companies in all branches such as machine and plant engineering, aerospace, medical engineering or wood and plastic processing companies.
